Williams originated in Roxbury Massachusetts around
1750. It is a medium size apple with thick, tender skin.
The flesh is sometimes tinged with red. It is firm,
tender and juicy with a pleasant mild subacid taste.
It is known to be a good apple, but not good for cooking. |
